These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KNKI Tools website at knkitools.com ("the Service") operated by KNKI Tools ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

KNKI Tools provides digital self-discovery assessment tools for individuals and couples, including personality quizzes, checklists, body mapping tools, and guided practice programs. Some features are available for free; premium features (such as detailed reports, partner comparisons, and PDF exports) require credits purchased through our platform.

3. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe have been compromised.

4. Credits and Payments

Credits are digital tokens used to unlock premium features within the Service. By purchasing credits, you agree to the following:

• All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and include applicable taxes as determined by our payment processor
• Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value outside the Service
• Starter and Popular credit bundles are valid for 30 days from purchase; Premium credits never expire
• All payments are processed by Creem.io, acting as the Merchant of Record
• We do not store your payment card information
• Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice; existing purchased credits will not be affected by price changes

5. Refund Policy

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

• Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase
• No credits from the purchase may have been consumed
• Refunds are processed through the original payment method within 5–10 business days

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute our tools, assessments, or reports without permission
• Create multiple accounts to exploit free features or circumvent usage limits
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
• Use the Service to generate, distribute, or promote any content that is sexually explicit, obscene, defamatory, or that depicts minors in any inappropriate context

7. Content and Prohibited Content

Our assessment tools are designed for educational and personal development purposes between consenting adults. While our tools explore topics related to intimate relationships, the following content and uses are strictly prohibited:

• Any content involving or depicting minors
• Non-consensual activities or promotion thereof
• Content that promotes violence, illegal activities, or self-harm
• Sharing assessment results or reports in a way that harasses or harms others

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these content guidelines without notice or refund.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, tools, assessments, reports, design, code, and branding associated with the Service are owned by KNKI Tools and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service and any reports generated for your private, personal use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Our assessment tools are for educational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional psychological, medical, therapeutic, or relationship advice. Results are based on self-reported data and general personality frameworks. We encourage users to consult qualified professionals for personalized guidance.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KNKI Tools and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages for loss of data, revenue, or profit, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid for credits in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless KNKI Tools and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Any unused credits may be forfeited upon termination for cause (i.e., violation of these Terms). If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any unused credits upon request.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also send a notification to your registered email address. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the applicable arbitration rules in Chengdu, China.

15. Miscellaneous

• Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and KNKI Tools regarding the Service.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
• Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent.
• Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
